Dermatology Clinical Nurse Specialist

Salary: £58,127  – £61,774 per year

Closing date: 1st October 2020

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Dermatology Department, with responsibility for managing a small team of nurses. The role is diverse, encompassing both chronic and acute inflammatory conditions and skin cancer management. Applicants must have the ability to work autonomously, but also within the multidisciplinary team, and know when to seek advice. Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills are essential, alongside knowledge of evidence-based practice in Dermatology. Applicants require 5 years post-qualifying experience, to include at least 3 years within Dermatology. A degree in a health-related subject is essential, with a willingness to work towards Level 7 studies. NMC V300 Nurse Independent and Supplementary Prescribing qualification is desirable, however, the opportunity to achieve this qualification locally will be available. Qualifications in skin surgery, phototherapy and photodynamic therapy would be an advantage.

Midwife

Substance Misuse Nurse Practitioner

Salary: £50,855  – £54,389  GBP per year

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Alcohol and Drug Service for a Substance Misuse Nurse Practitioner. The successful applicant will provide evidence based, intensive and specialist support primarily to service users under our Opiate Substitution Treatment programme. The post holder will also provide comprehensive assessments, treatment programmes and relapse prevention support to Islanders who use other drugs and drink at high risk or dependent levels.
