Salary: £51,313  – £54,879  GBP per year

An exciting opportunity for a full time RMN practitioner Post with Jersey Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team, CRHTT The CRHTT Service provides intensive support for people experiencing mental health related crisis and offers alternatives to in-patient care. The CRHTT works collaboratively with other mental health service providers on the island and is committed to providing care for service users and their families / career’s within the least restrictive environment.

Interested individuals will be expected to be enthusiastic, have a flexible approach to work and be committed to the working ethos of the CRHTT model.

The Team operates a shift system covering 24 hours 7 days per week. You will also be required to work as part of the unscheduled care provision that provides mental health assessments for adults. Within the team are a hospital liaison service, a home treatment service and a community triage service. We are also keen to imminently open up a phone line service available 24/7 to all adults who live on the island.

Applicants will need significant experience of working in the adult mental health setting and will require an excellent knowledge of current issue relating to mental health, crisis intervention and home treatment.

Comprehensive Assessment, Risk Assessment and Management skills are essential, as are excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to manage time and prioritize workload is fundamental to effective service delivery as is the ability to travel between sites in a timely manner. IT skills and competence are essential.

We are looking for a Specialist Arthroplasty Practitioner for Elective Orthopaedics to join us ,who has the drive and passion to provide clinical management of Orthopaedic Elective Arthroplasty patients during their inpatient stay in Orthopaedics . The post holder will be responsible to the Clinical lead Mr Colin Dunlop Orthopaedic Consultant and professionally to the lead Nurse for Surgical Care.

The role will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team which comprise of Orthopaedic Arthroplasty Surgeons, doctors in training, as well as the more traditional health care roles. The Orthopaedic Specialist Practitioner will work within a defined scope of practice and to agreed clinical standards applied within a local setting. The role will be multi factorial including an opportunity for non-medical prescribing ( After training ) and clinical assessment. The role will include working as an SFA ( Surgical First Assistant )within the operating theatre and theatre data validation .Maintaining the jersey joint register and ligament register, gathering the activity statistics, collecting PROMS and supporting activity in outpatient clinics .Formulating plans of care, prescribing, ordering diagnostics and skills appropriate to the management of the ward-based patient as well as acting as SFA (Surgical First Assistant).Benefitting our patients in terms of continuity, consistency and quality of care, prompt admissions, enhanced inpatient care and discharges, improving patient experience, and reducing length of stay.
